I thought it would be fun to put together a page documenting the unique language of our family. The products I used were all Jenni Bowlin. I created the title with my Cricut and the Makin’ the Grade and Opposites Attract cartridges. I painted a chipboard “A” as an accent and created a dictionary page with our unique words (which didn’t photograph all that well).
Summer Sandles Mini Book October 2, 2009
I created this mini book using the Life’s A Beach Cricut & Makin’ the Grade cartridges and a Hibiscus stamp using versamark ink. I embellisehd with rhinestones and flowers and bound the book using my Bind-It-All machine.
I made this altered clipboard by first painting it red and then applying patterned paper and ribbon using Mod Podge. The flower is from the Stampin Up set Pick a Petal and the center is from Priceless set.
I just fell in love with this card I made for my son’s 4-year-old friend. I used the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge and cut the boy and all his accessories at 3 1/2″ and the tractor at 3″. I used a brayer and my Stampin Up Classic ink to create the sky and grass. I finished it off with some penwork, chalking, and eyelets and brads.
Toyland Parade August 26, 2009
I made this tree using green scraps of paper that I pieced together. Thanks for looking!
Thank You Frog May 17, 2009
I made these Thank You cards for my son’s 4-year-old birthday. I actually used a die cut machine at school to cut out the frog. I made the lily pad by cutting a 3 1/2″ circle and drawing multiple lines on it. I added wiggle eyes and a curled tongue. The cattails are made from the small oval punch from Stampin Up and the “Thanks” stamp is also Stampin Up.
Love at First Bite May 16, 2009
I really liked how the color combination worked on this page. I used a Bazzill cardstock called Sandpaper for my base and used a pale pink mat under my focal picture and title. I cut the heart out with my Cricut and mounted it with Pop Dots. I used a white pen to make dots along the border of the heart and used a glue dot to adhere a knotted piece of felt ric rac. I cut the title out of white using the Making the Grade font from Cricut and put it on a turquoise paper with one scalloped edge (Stampin Up scallop border punch). I also did a sort of subtitle, “food” and used the Opposites Attract Cricut cartridge for that. The three small pictures along the bottom were cropped using a 2″ punch.
